The Fruitful Sower YouTube channel launched first and I started this blog as a way to expand on the topics covered on YouTube 🎥. And also to turn some videos into a readable form.
The vision for Fruitful Sower is to delve into all things related to the bible and nature. In case you didn’t know, the bible has tons of references to nature so I feel there’s going to be plenty to cover!
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God

In all things, we can give God the glory and one such way I’m striving to do this is through gardening.
A simple hobby I began just over a year ago, and eventually led me to open my eyes to ways God can be glorified through nature.
Ever since starting gardening, I also began noticing the enormous amount of references the bible makes to nature.
For example, a detail I hadn’t noticed before is that Jesus was initially mistaken to be a gardener when He appeared to Mary Magdalene after His resurrection (John 20:15).
Details like these have gotten me excited about reading the bible through the eyes of a gardener.
I enjoy picking up on lessons, details, stories, and illustrations used throughout the bible around nature. So much so that I started a Christianity & Gardening video series on YouTube that’s all about exploring biblical references to nature!
I also have some videos of me (amateurly..) doing some gardening such as growing tulips, putting together window boxes and growing veggies.
I’d love for you to join me in this journey of exploring the bible and seeing what we can learn from it through the perspective of a gardener.
Ultimately the goal is to discover more about the bible, get closer to God, learn ways to apply His words of wisdom into our lives and to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God!
